Design and permit
Before we touch dirt, your site needs a soil evaluation, an approved design from a licensed designer or engineer, and an installation permit from the county health department. If you already have the design, we quote from it. If you are starting from zero, we explain the sequence and who you need to call first. Nothing gets scheduled until the permit is real.
Layout and excavation
We stake and paint the system exactly where the approved design puts it, shoot grades with a laser level, and open the trenches with our mini excavators. Working with compact machines means we can build on tight forested lots without flattening everything around the work area.
Tank set
The precast concrete tank arrives on a boom truck and gets craned into a bedded, level excavation. We seal the joints, set the lid, and stack risers to bring the access lids up to finished grade. Those teal lids you see in our photos mean nobody ever has to dig to pump or inspect your tank.
Drainfield construction
Trenches get cut to designed depth with clean, level bottoms, then the distribution system goes in: leaching chambers or gravel and pipe, laterals, inspection ports and the manifold back to the tank or pump chamber. This stage is where careful work pays off for decades, because a drainfield only treats sewage as well as it was built.
Inspection, backfill and approval
The county inspects the system while it is still open, checking the built system against the approved design. Only after sign-off do we backfill, rough grade and tidy the site. You end up with an approved, documented system and lids at grade, and we end up able to stand behind the work because an inspector saw every part of it.
